Hi, trying to find information on the above.
My relative George Boshier (my great Uncle) we are led to believe served in this regiment for the duration of WW2 he did survive.
I've not had much success so far on wether I can obtain his service record from The Army Personal Centre as I am not the direct next of kin.
We have his medals the Italy Star, 39-45 Star, France/Germany Star, Defence Medal, and we think there should have been another Star????
Unfortunately none of the medals are inscribed with his details so we don't know his rank or service number etc.
Any help or information much appreciated.
    Thankyou.

Contact The Wardrobe would be my best suggestion.

I don't think the 7th Bn went overseas, I think he'll have been posted to another Bn.

    PS Welcome to the site.

The photo with the lorry with 52? sign on mudguard, I think I'm right in saying the white line underneath the number means that unit was attatched at "Army" level.
ie Not to a Division or Corps but 8th Army for instance.
