Hello DRyan67, can I pick your brains again?

The regiment arrived in India equipped with 25-pdr guns and assigned to 9th Indian Division.
"A" Battery of this regiment was left behind in India when the regiment went to Malaya in August 1941.
This battery was to help raise 160th Field Regiment, RA
Now, in your wonderful "The British Armies in World War Two" Supplement Two Orders of Battle you have an order of battle for Ceylon on 5th April 1942 that includes an A Battery (Lanarkshire Yeomanry) under command 34th Indian Division with one troop at Trincomalee.
Did this battery go to Ceylon? Did it 25-pdr guns and how long did it stay on the island? Who did it serve with?

    Thanks for any help
