    Hello to all.

A while ago I downloaded a photo of the strength of personal and vehicles of the Royal Canadian Dragoons in February 1945. Can not remember where from I downloaded it.
The are some abbreviations I can not understand.
    MCs
    HUCs
    HUPs
    HUWs
    3 Ton GS

    Can somebody please help out.
    And are there photo's of?

Thank you in advance for any answer.

    Best regards,
    Noppie.

Could MC's possibly be Motor cycles?

That could be. But I was understanding that they where in the Netherlands by april 1945 no MC's where there. At least not on the many photo's I do have of the RCD.
    Greetz,

The HUs are Canadian Military Pattern vehicles.

HUC - Heavy Utility, Computer (an office body)

    HUP - Heavy Utility, Personnel

    HUW - Heavy Utility, Wireless

I'm sure that MCs are motorcycles. There were always some for communications.

3 Ton GS is simply a "General Service" body on a truck rated at 3 tons carrying capacity.
