Is there any accounts of American military being infiltrated into the German army as spies for the US?
SOE/OSS had agents that contacted ethnic minorities serving in the Wehrmacht and Kreigsmarine, mainly Austrians, Poles. Czechs etc. post D day quite a few ethnic Germans canged sides and some were used in line crossing missions
Thanks. That's a good start for what I need. Do you know anything about US military or OSS pre D-Day, not so much working with partisans but actually infiltrated into the German military services?
