I found this German helmet with an interesting decal on it that I haven't seen before. Is it a fake or is it for an occupied country? Here's the link: ePier - WWII german single decal helmet

I also found this other interesting German helmet link on Ebay. Except this helmet has a skull for its decal. Is it fake as well or a very rare helmet? Here's the link: Vintage WWII German Helmet Germany Head Gear - (item 110149759120 end time Jul-22-07 18:00:40 PDT)

Thanks and have a great rest of the week!

It shares certain Heraldic devices with the Coat of Arms of Bavaria.

    BINGO!!!!

Deutsche Wappen - German Civic Heraldry-Bundesland/State BAYERN / BAVARIA
At the end of the last century O. Hupp devised new arms for the state, which showed a quartered shield with Wittelsbach, Pfalz, Staufen and Franken (see below). The lions of Staufen were shown only partly, as Staufen was only partly in the present state of Bayern. These arms were used from 1923 until the National-Socialists abandoned it in the 1930s. In 1950 the arms of 1835 were changed according to Hupp's suggestions, but with the addition of the diamonds of the Wittelsbach family.
