Ordered this one today for a fiver. It's from 1945 and apparently has some good pics of Oosterbeek after the battle (which is just as well as its in Dutch :D). Whether or not the pics are any different from the ones in "Oosterbeek Verwoest" we shall have to wait and see .
    All the best.............

    Hi Tom,
I sold it reluctantly.Unfortunately I had no choice. I lost my work and needed the money for my family. they are more important then my books.
It was hurting me because I know that the change of finding it back is 5%.
But the book was in any case to a real arnhem collector.
not to mention, he payd a very good price for this almost impossible to obtain book.

So I understand that you would take it with you:D

But the sales of this book brought something good. I met Paul and then I met several people with similar interests.

And thanks to Paul, I was able to buy some good books because he pointed me out. (Arnhem Venture, Revel in god´s sunshine). And he bought somewhere for me B-company arrived.

You saying that reminds me of seeing a Army Parachutist display team many years ago wait for it.............the Royal Green Jackets, I still have the badge somewhere it says "Ive seen the Green Jackets Jump" now I will wait for the cries of derison 'Green Jackets on the end of a Parachute'o_O it was explained to me some years later that the Green Jackets are really the Mafia;)

Whilst not an OMG book it is 1st Airborne (and NOT 6th, Drew!) so I thought I'd put this one up.
The first pic is the 1992 hardback 1st edition and the second is the 2006 paperback version.

According to Pen & Sword's website, this one is due out at the end of Feb 2010 (so that probably means about May!) :)
