I feel abit left out now...all I have is Bill's signeture (along with Malarky's Compton's and Winters')
With the lockdown continuing in the province of Ontario and with my boredom being increased due to the fact that I have exhausted most of what interests me on Netflix, I turned to Band of Brothers to kill some time. Simply excellent. Now on to the other Speilberg/Hanks production "The Pacific" which I found to be inferior to BoB. But, still worth watching.
Watching it the other day with sprog beta. Partly to see if he thought it dated, being three years older than him. Apparently not. Still a thoroughly enjoyable slab of TV drama. Also, still waiting for 'Band of Tommies in the Desert/Italy'. Hohum.
Still chokes me up when Capt. Nixon walks into the German woman's completely unscathed living room because it makes me think of my dad. He said he had the same experience many times as Germany was collapsing. He passed away before BOB was out but I'm sure he would have liked it.
