Hi guys,just curious if any one on the forum plays BF 1942 online.Im looking for a dedicated server with guys that play the way its should be.Most the games online everyone goes off and does there own thing with no team work.
If you like BF 1942 so much you might want to try this MOD called Finnwars. As the name says it takes place in Finland during the WW2. You sholud at least try it. Here is a link to Finnwars home page. www.finnwars.com There should be at least two dedicated serves online all the time. Hint : Switch English dialog off from the options menu to hear some Finnish and Russian voices during the game!

Usually the players chat in Finnish (i wonder why...? ) but if you show that you are not from Finland they will chat in English too. It usually needs teamwork to destroy a tank or to capture a base. You also should read information about the MOD from their home page to ensure that you know the basics of this MOD. By the way... I usually use HEKE as my nick while playing Finnwars. What nick do you use?

Celtic 75 do u have Call of Duty and Call of Duty United Offensive, there exist All Serving Eye, which provides a liabrary of game servers. I could provide some of the server ip addresses I"ve been on. All Seeing Eye also provides a large list of servers for Battlefield. If anyone wants the sever ip's let me know and we can go online for battle lol. BlackSheep

Call of Duty and the Expansion Call of Duty United offensive are the the top world war 2 first person shooter's on the market IMHO. Great game play. Blacksheep

Use the one that is closest to where you are in the world (should get better speeds). Also I think Finnwars was incorparated into the Forgotton Hope mod a while back (Check them out here). Gnomey, Finnwars is still an independent and ongoing mod. It never was incorporated into the Forgotten Hope mod. I, how ever, am not suprised that you thought so because of the rumours i heard some time ago. I have read about this incorporation rumour in some forums around the internet. These rumours about the incorporation aren`t true so far. Just wanted to let you know.
OK, I always thought they had because of the Finnish Content in the FH mod and because of the rumours as well, I put 2 and 2 together. If there not merged then all the better, I will have a look out for it. Thanks HEKE.
I love flying around in Bf1942. I usually only play in 2 servers. One called "Disciples El Alamien 24/7," lot's of planes on that server... "Gamespy Arena: Coral Sea 24/7" and sometimes I plan on "MoonGamers Mostly CQ Omaha."
