Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year ! To one and all ! In these troubled times thinking of the `Thin Blue Line` often stretched but as yet unbroken! Kyle
So, to avoid any liability in these litigious times: Festive Greeting, Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, non-political, gender-neutral and gluten-free celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all. I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2018, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make Canada great. Not to imply that Canada is necessarily greater than any other country nor the only country in the Western Hemisphere. Also, this wish is made without regard to the race, creed, colour, age, physical ability, religious faith, sports team affiliation or sexual preference of the wishee. To those less sensitive, have a very Merry Christmas!
I thought you Canadians spelt it colour like us in the UK & it was your southern neighbours who say color & neighbor.

Season's greetings and Happy New Year for 2018 to everyone. I haven't been very active on this forum for most of the year, largely because of health issues. Hopefully 2018 will be better in ll respects.
Whether or not you are 'dreaming of a White Chritmas' in December 2018: A Happy Christmas time and season's greetings to all members, admins and occasional visitors of 'WW2 Talk'.
A Merry Christmas to All on the forum. In the bleak mid-winter Frosty wind made moan, Earth stood hard as iron, Water like a stone; Snow had fallen, snow on snow, Snow on snow, In the bleak mid-winter Long ago. Our God, Heaven cannot hold Him Nor earth sustain; Heaven and earth shall flee away When He comes to reign: In the bleak mid-winter A stable-place sufficed The Lord God Almighty, Jesus Christ. Enough for Him, whom cherubim Worship night and day, A breastful of milk And a mangerful of hay; Enough for Him, whom angels Fall down before, The ox and ass and camel Which adore. Angels and archangels May have gathered there, Cherubim and seraphim Thronged the air, But only His mother1 In her maiden bliss, Worshipped the Beloved With a kiss. What can I give Him, Poor as I am? If I were a shepherd I would bring a lamb, If I were a wise man I would do my part, Yet what I can I give Him, Give my heart.
