Does any member have access to the General Nursing Council Registers for the years 1932-1940 or able to view them at TNA (Doc. Ref. DT10). Unfortunately they are not on line and I am unable to travel.

I am attempting to ascertain if a lady was a Registered Nurse. She would have commenced training as Elizabeth Ann Moralee but by 1935 she had married and may have changed her name to Elizabeth Ann Everitt. Two possible hospitals Saffron Waldon Community, Surrey and Royal Hospital, Richmond, Surrey, both hospitals no longer hold staff records so were unable to assist.

Do not be confused with a Beatrice Moralee, her sister or Elizabeth Moralee, nee Farquhason possibly an elder relative.

If anybody can assist I will gladly reimburse any expenses including lunch (providing it is not a Ritz Champagne Lunch).

    Most grateful for any assistance

    Tony

Hi Tony - The first person that springs to mind that may be able to help is forum member Sue Light.

    Cheers

Tony contacted me earlier in the year Drew. I have two editions of the GNC Register here, 1928 and 1942, but unfortunately neither managed to pick her up.

Graham Moralee looks a possibility so I will contact him.

I have just been reading the nursing records on line. I think I got the link from Sue Lights site.
