    German Flown Aerial Photographs, 1939–1945

    This series consists of captured German aerial photographic contact prints covering England, Norway, Poland, Russia, the Middle East and North Africa during World War II. Many of the photographs were taken of battles in progress. Included are both vertical mapping photography and oblique reconnaissance photographs.
