Howdy, I hope someone can help me with the following question, I'm looking for German newsreels of World War II (better known as Die Deutsche Wochenschau) online, in HD. There are several of them on YouTube but in terrible quality. I've been searching for weeks (also in different languages) and looked through several online archives, here and there with success, for example, I found several Danish collaboration WWII newsreel that included footage from the Eastern Front in 1080p. In the Dutch archives I found also several newsreel items. Too bad that many online archives, such as IWM, do not share the newsreels online: DIE DEUTSCHE WOCHENSCHAU NR 570 - part [Main Title] < one example Who can help me further with my research and do know any sources where to find them? Thanks for your reply. Thanks for the tip, but I already knew that website. 99% of those videos are in terrible quality, not what I'm looking for. Coincidentally I found one yesterday, probably one of the few that you will find on YouTube in this kind of quality.

Have you tried here: Киноархив net-film I don't know how many they have, what the quality is like or if you can download them if that's what you're after. If you are looking to download them then they're a hefty size I have all 243 on my PC and they're a hefty 26.3Gb.

I can't speak or write a single word Danish but I came across this site which a few newsreel of World War II in 1080p.
