MALAYAN EMERGENCY - sorry Not WW2 I was posted to 13 Infantry Workshop REME at Kluang, Malaya. The adjacent unit was 30 Gurkha Army Service Corps where Gurkhas were taught to drive. To aid their training they had two or three stripped down lorries chocked off the ground so that the engine and gearbox would drive the wheels through the transmission. Has anyone got a photograph of this set-up please?
