Grey Wolf: The Escape of Adolf Hitler

Did Hitler (code name Grey Wolf) really die in 1945? The evidence says no. Heres the gripping story of what might have happened... When Truman asked Stalin in 1945 whether Hitler was dead, Stalin replied bluntly, No. As late as 1952, Eisenhower declared: We have been unable to unearth one bit of tangible evidence of Hitler's death. What really happened? Simon Dunstan and Gerrard Williams have compiled extensive evidence, some recently declassified, that Hitler actually fled Berlin and took refuge in a remote Nazi enclave in Argentina. The recent discovery that the famous Hitler's skull in Moscow is female, as well as newly uncovered documents, provide powerful proof for their case. Dunstan and Williams cite people, places and dates in over 500 detailed notes that identify the plan's escape route, vehicles, aircraft, U-boats and hideouts. Among the details: the CIA's possible involvement and Hitler's life in Patagonia, including his two daughters.

    How queer.
Simon Dunstan's done some decent AFV books, but this looks like the first departure into a different area. I do hope he's got his flame-proof suit on.

I see one of the Authors popped up on WW2F recently (I don't look in the Alternative history section there much, so missed it) :

    Absolute nonsense.
Everyone knows he fled to Minehead:

No no no Adam , it is a well known fact that aftre he failed to win the North Minehead seat he was employed as the gardener in "No.9" , he left after planning permission for a bunker was turned down...current whereabouts unknown, although informed sources say Dunstan's closet.

Fiction intertwined with some actual facts can work well, as long as you remember that it is fiction.

Having read some of the AHF thread , what can one say ...a pound of tripe would be worth more, somehow it is very difficult to see history being rewritten on the strength of this..... not really the sort of thing one takes remotely seriously.
Me thinks this thread has given it all the attention it deserves.

On AHF, Williams made the mistake of arriving just after Fred tried his best to push his book!

So we were all fired up and ready to deal with any sort of numptyness at that point - he forgot to bring his steel helmet with him.
