Would anyone know if there is a list of survivors from the sinking of HMS Greyhound in 1941, and where I could find it?

HMS Greyhound (H 05) of the Royal Navy - British Destroyer of the G class - Allied Warships of WWII - uboat.net at the base are some TNA Ref nos that should prove useful, its also quite a detailed report on ths ship and its actions that day

HMS Greyhound, destroyer - some details on numbers etc

    TD

List of those killed - Royal Navy casualties, killed and died, May 1941

Captain and 79 of ship's company killed. Four were taken prisoner. Other survivors picked up by HM Destroyers KANDAHAR and KINGSTON.

Missing Men file, assuming there is one at Kew.

Specifically, I am looking for the list of survivors if, of course, such a thing exists

The above file is your best bet as the war office contacts survivors to see when they last saw an individual. It's not brilliant but worth a look.

There's only lists of those missing believed drowned, not survivors in that file (WO 361/15).
