Remote Controlled Bred Guns ??? Good lord! Don't know if it's been touched on before, but they were controlled from inside from bicycle handlebars - each brake lever operated the Bren for that side!

if you go to Defence Images (MOD) you will be able to find a modern update to the remote controlled brens, a couple of years ago the Army carried out trials with remote firing cannons/machine guns, there was a few pictures of them.
