Internet chain link

I received a "chain" link from someone yesterday, claiming that the UK has banned the teaching of Holocaust Studies in schools, because it upsets Muslims. I won't post the link here because it's very explicit, and probably not true anyway.
I checked it out, and it seems to be a rumour that was published in our favourite UK paper (DM), then took off as true on the internet.
I've replied to the person who sent it expressing my doubts, but was there ever any truth in the story?

 

I noticed that too, Owen.
It goes to show, though, how easily many people are taken in by what they read on the internet. As long as it fits in with what they currently believe.
This was from a French source, maybe prompted by their real fear of Muslim terrorists, as well as perhaps anti British feeling post Brexit.
