Sorry i think I posted this in the wrong place the first time.

    Good Evening!

I was wondering if anyone that participated in world war 2 would be willing to answer some questions for me in the form of an online interview. I am doing a research paper on world war 2 and pearl harbor and it is required that we find someone to interview with. If there is anyone that could please help me I would really appreciate it. I would need to have the interview questions answered by probably friday so that I can get my paper turned in on time. If you are interested could you please Email me at Hall1908@kettering.edu that would be wonderful.

    Thank You,

Kristine, what exactly do you need in the way of an interview for your paper? A Pearl Harbor survivor?

    And welcome aboard!

A pearl harbor survivor would be amazing, but I would love to speak with anyone from that time period.

    Here are the Questions:
    Your Name:
    Place you were born:
Branch of Service you were involved with: (army navy ect)
    Your Rank:
Were you drafted or did you enlist?
Why did you join the war?
What was your role in WWII?
How old were you when you joined the war?
What did it feel like, being involved with the war?
    Where did you serve? Specifically?
What was your job assignment? Did you do duties other than that?
Did your beliefs in religion affect you during the war? Were those beliefs effected?
How did your family feel about you being in the war? Were there special measures that were taken on the homefront after attacks like Pearl Harbor?
Did you feel support from the United States while at war?
What event(s) do you feel helped the US win the war?
Tell me about your most memorable experiences:
Can you tell me about December 7th 1941?
How do/did you feel about the men you served with?
    Did you lose friends?
Were you awarded any metals or awards?
    Did you have enough supplies?
Did you stay in touch with your family?
    Did you keep a diary?
Do you still feel the effects of the war today?
Do you remember the day your service ended?
What did you do after the war?
What career did you pursue after the war?
Is there anything else you would like to tell me? Something that is important to you or that you feel others should remember?

    Pearl Harbor Specific:
Can you tell me about what you experienced on December 7th 1941 at Pearl Harbor?
What damage was inflicted that day?
What do you know about the Doolittle Bombers?
Can you tell me anything else about Pearl Harbor, Japan, or how it affected the United states?

Is there really nobody that can help me? I've tried asking everyone I know for help getting this interview, and if I don't have it done in time to turn it in with my paper on Monday I'm going to fail this class. I would really appreciate any help possible.

    Thanks Again,
    Kristine Halls

Sorry Kristine we haven't been able to help you.
We've a limited membership base, very few Veterans. A couple of British ones and one American B17 Pilot.
Good Luck. Sounds like you'll need it.
