Korean War Oral Histories - Korean War Legacy
Good catch there von Poop. I do rather like this quote from the 'About' section:
Interesting to note the official Korean support for this American website. A contact remarked that his wife's brother had died in RoK and they paid for an all-expenses trip there now a few years ago.
Years ago now, so pre-9/11 (2001) I visited the Vietnam Memorial in Washington DC, it was quite busy, whereas the Korean War Memorial, with its larger than life size statues, had hardly anyone visiting.
'The Forgotten' war/army/etc. is heavily over-used in military history, but I think Korea is the real ignored conflict.
Large in scale, significant in outcome, and largely ignored.
Separate names with a comma.
