Windsor this morning

 

A mere 3cm here on the Hounslow/Twickenham borders.

As Clive said earlier, it was obvious snow had arrived by the muffled nature of normal suburban noise levels.

 

yep at least 3 inches in 11 Group area and still snowing

 

You Southerners nick everything. We were promised snow in Yorkshire and not so much as a single snowflake today.

Thank you whichever one of you returned my snow. A fairly satisfactory amount is falling now.

 

Had the first settled snow of the year about two weeks back--although it didn't last until morning. Peaceful, all the same. I'm no expert on acoustics, but a thick layer with heavy cloud cover must do something to deaden the sound at night.

From my bedroom window:

Just mist and mirk here in Glasgow. Below freezing all day.
