    Yeah, he appears in RCAF Casualty List 942 (attached)

    My Jake is probably this John, both were F.O.s. He is listed in the POW Hospital record of entry as Jake which is sometimes a nickname.

    There are several men on this list from a specific bomber crew which was shot down on 16/17 June. That ties in nicely given that Ross was scarfed up on the 15th.
