Looking for units for individual PWs

I am doing research on individuals held in the Rennes Military Hospital where wounded Allied PWs were treated. Using the Forces War Records site I have found some individuals who are identified against the Royal Artillery. I know that these individuals are associated with specific units and I was wondering if any of these names ring a bell.

Any way I am listing below those individuals from the Royal Aritllery and would like any input from you on which unit these guys belong.

Have you considered seeing if they completed a PoW Liberation report?

I have checked all the names against the Ancestry data base for British POW's 1939 - 1945 and that only shows them as Royal Artillery - nothing more specific than that I'm afraid.
Someone on here may have a better idea, or perhaps the RA Museum/Association/Veterans Site (note I have no links to these) may be able to assist further.

I have looked at a lot of E&Es from Rennes but these guys are not in my listing of E&Es. I will look into the RA Association and see what they have to say.

If they were PoWs until the end of the war they wouldn't have completed Escape and Evasion Reports but they may have completed a liberation report.

Every one of these guys did go into a Stalag somewhere. Is there a listing of liberation reports somewhere or do I have to get a researcher at KEW?

Researcher at Kew, there's over 100,000 of them so they won't be online anytime soon. I don't do them as a rule but Lee does for a small fee.

So that means they are likely to have been enlisted in the S. Staffords but transfered over to the Artillery at some point.
