I'm researching my mothers uncle who died in Korea. He served with the Inniskillings in Sicily were he recieved the MM.(See Sicily 43 posting)
Unfortuantely he was called into service again with the Ulster Rifles and was killed on the 4th January 1951. His name was Cpl.William Moore 6980318.
I have a copy of 'The Royal Ulster Rifles in Korea' but would like to here from any members who served in Korea. Surely a lot of men who survived WW2 found themselves on the frontline again ,one war in a lifetime would be one war too many. I can't seem to find much on the web,Korea seems to be the forgotten war.
