Piats

I used the Linverges Panther account in my book. I think it's a discipline thing, as one as if you look at the IWM sound archive getting trained on the PIAT is the most common account mentioning it. Of course it's a three day course to learn it, and in 44 it maybe that not enough people had gone through the course.

On the plus side, the simplicity of the PIAT is clear as someone with no training managed to make it go bang!

If I was picky I'd point to his treatment of the L85. Putting several hundred rounds through it, and not cleaning it, then when it fails 'oh look it's a bad gun!'
I challenge you to do that with an M16 as a baseline as well!

But you and Listy have hit on an idea which could be a goldmine. How about a WW2Talk youtube channel? Why, we could all become INFLUENCERS! Before you know it we'll be drowning in money, endorsements, and Page Three girls! But that dream is for another thread.
