I know that in 1931 Timoshenko produced Sniper and at the end of All Quiet on the Western Front our protagonist Paul is killed by a French sniper, but are there any other WW I or inter-war films that featured snipers and sniping? Second question, what was the distribution of Soviet films outside of the USSR? Could Timoshenko's movie have been shown in the West?
