Here is a link to our Berlin RBL Website showing the Remembrance Day photographs that members have forwarded.

Given the wet start to the day and the very bitter cold wind during the Service, it was well attended and followed by a church Service of Remembrance at St George's

I hope that you find them of interest, especially given the recent questions regarding floral tributes.

    Great photos indeed Tom.

Who is the chap with the beard four to the right of you in the photo? Looked familiar - Did I meet him at the club when I was in Berlin ?

    Cheers

    Geoff,

The man with the beard is the new Chairman of the Berlin Branch of the American Veteran of Foreign Wars (AVFW).

He is extremely passionate about the Vietnam veterans that are still missing, hence his MIA insignia on his leather jerkin.

He occassionally calls into the Legion, but cannot be certain that you met him.

He always wears the same Outfit regardless of the occassion and once met, never forgotten.

    Gerard,

    Yes,

The Commandant of Berlin is always in attendance, together with the several other Senior ranks including reservists.
The Berlin Wache Battalion, also provide the wreath parties.
