    Hi,
I am trying to confirm that 6607858 Sjt H E Holmes KRRC (POW number 2530, stalag 383) was captured at Calais? Does anybody have any of the KRRC chronicles available?
    Cheers,
    Rick

I'll check Battleground Europe's Calais book when I get home, it's quite detailed on names. Have you checked the forum? I have copied a lot of Calais related files and DBF has transcribed them onto the forum.

If none of the turn up trumps - I'd try Kew for a PoW Questionnaire.

    Hi,

    thanks for the links guys,

I recentley obtained a copy of his POW questionaire which confirms he was captured on the 24th May at Calais. Any further information, if anybody can add to this with details such as the circumstances, it would be appreicated.
    Cheers,
    rick
