I've seen Roy Rogers shoot a lock off many times. All things are possible in the movies. I recently read the .303 Brit. terminal ballistics tests at Box O Truth. I always wondered why I'd discover a flattened or bent bullet on occasion in the sand backstop at the range when shooting my old wreck of a Lee-Enfield Mk. III. Now I know. I shoot South African military surplus ball made in the 1980s, 174-grain ( I think) bullets. Great ammo., and the SMLE keeps on soldiering. JT
