    Incoming.
Nice site - rings a bell.

(Got a full Saracen manual somewhere. Should probably scan in one day, though I mostly believe Saladin was about the finest looking wheeled AFV ever produced. )

I didn't realise this thread existed. In 2018 I was lucky to join a civilian party touring the small arms collection and after the lunch the "sheds" with their collection of artillery and armour. The organiser is a friend and from memory it took time to gain access, in return for a small donation to a local "good cause".

Attached are a couple of photos of the cut-away Leopard. Plus, an intriguing pre-1914 artillery piece - with it's plaque and I expect their most valuable £££ item, a US-make 155mm gun made from a precious metal to reduce it's weight.

I will ask my friend how he got in.

Alas my friend, the 2018 organiser, cannot help as all his contacts have gone. Anyone interested in a group visit should contact the Defence Academy, either the small arms curator (who was a retired officer), the "shed" keepers (NCOs in '18) or perhaps public relations!
