Smoke bomb parts?

    Any idea on the copper/brass parts on the lower left of the attached picture. I'm told they come from a form of smoke bomb :confused: All metal detected on the Kent coast.

    Theyre from a 2inch mortar smoke round,theyre the part where the smoke emits from (seee attatched image from visual collector)
    You also appear to have the lower portion of a PIAT cartridge (next to the two cartridges top right)

    Thanks for the information Spotter, that looks to be the very part. In my ignorance I had to google PIAT cartridge and now I know B)

    also attatched for those who have not seen one a photo of my fired PIAT cartridge plus a drawing showing where it is located..
