South East Asia Air Force

I have acquired an original photograph of the No 1 CRO (MT) Section; RAF; South East Asia Air Forces.

I think the CRO stands for Commonwealth Relations Office, but I don't know anything about it. It is an official photograph, and all the people in the photograph are listed.

Can anyone tell me anything about this section of the RAF? I am happy to give people details of the photograph if they are looking for family members.
