Two clues: From: 1st Bn The Queen's In Arakan - The Queen's in Burma 1943-1945 From: Maungdaw-Buthidaung Road - Arakan and Kohima Both chapters have maps and names, though not of the Wet Valley. Unclear to me if the mortar battery is the Surrey's or from the Jungle Field Regiment. Hopefully enough clues to work on. Or an expert comes along to help. Hi David, Thanks very much for the information. I shall click on the links a bit later and have a read. I was trying to work out the location on Google Maps last night. I believe I may have got reasonably close, going by other information which was kindly posted. Looking forward to going in. Best, Paul.
