Just to say that a revised and expanded version of this 1963 book has been published and is now available...£18.50 plus postage...It has many photographs (there were none in the original) and extra detail on some of the Dutch helpers and so on.....

I have a small number of copies for sale...limited print run of 500.......

A very nice work it is too, with a number of interesting additions to the original text and very nice to see the brave Dutch helpers being given full recognition. A fine addition to any collection. It also means I don't need to refer to my dogeared paperback addition of the original quite so often now.

I agree and I'm very pleased with it. It's another class Sigmond book. Well promoted Pompey Pal. Are you in sales by any chance?

    Hi Airborne Medic
I’ve got a first edition Travel By Dark but the updated version with photos intrigued me. I’ve pnly just found this site and your post was 4-5 years ago.
Do you have any copies left for sale?

Jonathan Ball It's a way of life.

I don't know if Niall still has any copies left but I do know that Paul Meekins does and as said above the RN Sigmond edition is excellent.
