Well that's about the first thing I've read about it, but thanks anyway. I've also found After the battle magazine regarding Walcheren with some decent photos but not what I'm looking for. Air pictures of the landing beach would be great, as maps of the site

Took these on Walcheren at the start of the month. The Windmill was a bunker in WW2 and just in front of it a fully restored bunker , not suer of its openning times . The wooden supports - I am told that these led to torpedo launching platforms , there were a nuber of these. The round tower , a bunker in WW2. The windmill with two cold individuals , our host and "herself". The restored bunker , windmill adjacent to it and remains of a beach obstacle, perhaps part of the same one ....stopped this bike!!
