I'd always been told that 'King Kong' was Adolf's favourite film... seriously.

Being a dictator doesn't necesarily squash the taste for fun does it?;)

I thought it was The Lives of a Bengal Lancer?

Just looked it up on the interballs and that one's mentioned on wiki as a contender isn't it. I'd only ever heard the King Kong suggestion before, almost certainly both apocryphal anyway.
Wonder if 'smoke gets in your eyes' was really his favourite song...

Sorry, just can't resist it :icon-mrgreenbandit::

    Hitler, has only one ball,
Goring, has two but very small,
    Himmler has something similar,
And Goebbles has no balls at all.

You mean I have to choice only one? "Apocalypse now". I wouldn't say it too optimistic either.

That would have to be the version that wasn't edited to death. Have you seen the original uncut version? It fills in the gaps nicely and you can figure out more and feel less like you're on the same thing Lance was.

Love Honour and Obey. The best London Gangster film ever made !

'Alan, Alan...Can you hear me? Get the big boys out of the van!' 2mins and 2 seconds and wait for a pearler of a line at 4 mins and 30 seconds

YouTube - Love Honour and Obey

The only thing wrong with the film is Ray Winstone is the gaffer of the NortH London firm -Everyone knows South London is nails !

Don't know if anyone here has seen it, but the film 'Pirrepoint' about Albert Pirrepoint is very interesting.

Bit tenuous, re the time frame  But, yes; Brilliant film. I have it on the shelf behind me ;)

    " Kes. " :)
