Max was 12th battery and a mate to my father NX60337 Colin Booth. See attached page from Target Tank book. I have just published book re Campo 106 escapers and includes a nominal roll of 790 Australians held there 1943; Max did not go on to this camp from 57. My book is called Shooting Through:Campo 106 escaped POWs after the Italian armistice. It sells internationally through online sellers. I can sell directly within Australia. Regarding Target Tank book, I have scanned it for easier reading. For small fee and postage, I can copy onto CD or USB and mail to any interested persons.

Hi I am trying to trace any living relatives of Gunner Miles Curran from the 2/3rd Anti Tank Regiment. I have a piece of memorabilia that I would like them to have. Can anyone help?
From an earlier post: Here is his Service Number: NX37537 . A little more on: Miles CURRAN Notably born BATHURST, NSW, 27 June 1919 Not many matches elsewhere. Died 29 June 2003 @ Rookwood, Cumberland Council, NSW and matched on his Service Number via: Miles Curran (unknown-2003) - Find a Grave... Alas no other clues on this site. Cumberland Council covers Sydney. Well you are 21years behind him, better than some requests for help. I'd try searching the local newspaper - I have no idea how Australian newspaper archives can be accessed. Even putting a notice up or with a local radio station. Good luck!
Thank you. I managed to find this site and have emailed them to see if they can help. If anyone has any other ideas I would be really grateful.
Track down the undertaker by asking the cemetery admin and you might then get contact with his family. Add a note on his virtual record and Find a Grave. Australia has an organization for ex-servicemen / women, cannot recall its name Ex-Servicemen's League? Try FB for any local branch and even a veterans group for his old regiment.
