As some of you may have known that Daphne Du Maurier's personal items were being auctioned off in the last week one is an aerial photograph of General Frederick Browning's Hedquarters 1st British Airborne Corps gliders which landed on 17th September 1944. Said to have been taken by PR Spitfire from No. 541 Squadron on the 19th September 1944. Hopefully this has not been posted before and be of interest to the Arnhem chaps. brithm
