I found British LCA's available from S+S models in resin at a good price and decided to do something with these. I also wanted to make a diorama which compacted some of Ouistreham, Merville and Pegasus in the same diorama. I'm also tempted to do Bruneval or a Norwegian raid or even St Nazaire.

I havent found a Tetrarch yet, but have most of what I need. Coastal Defence Fort, 3 LCM's, dukw, 2 cromwells, 2 churchill avre's, sherman crab, a few shermans, bren carriers, jeep, matador, bedford truck, commandos, airborne and para's and germans, still looking for cheap Revell Scottish 8th Army. I also bought the Pegasus Germans in Berlin and will take a few for Partisans. I have 2 Panthers, a Tiger, a Marder, a Wespe, Puma, Jadgpanther, PzIV, Skdfz234, 250, 251. I'll probably get the Horsa from Airfix and I'm looking at the Italeri D-Day bunkers. Trying to figure what the best deal on hedgehog beach defences is. I'll give these new airfix ruined buildings a go, the cafe, the house and the cottage.

I'm ready to start with bonding and polyfilla and will post some pics up.

With all that stuff it will certainly be a busy diorama!

ridiculous really, probably should split into 3 or 4 dioramas, but I'm toying with the idea of gaming.

Airfix brought a "second type" of Commandos, different poses, I am searching for a box of these, but proving very hard to find. The figures are better, no canoes I think.

As a 1/72 scale modeller you really ought to know about tracks-n-troops they have two Tetrarch's available, one from Extratech and one by Modelltrans, a CS version. Both resin and both quite expensive.

If you fancy Bruneval, Extratech also make a wurzburg radar.. not cheap
