A view of what is known locally as the 'Dip' Old Felixstowe Suffolk, Looking towards the River Deben Estuary and Bawdsey in the distance. The B&W photo circa 1951 and the colour photos 1965. Nice to see the Radar Pylons in the distance at Bawdsey Manor across the river. The RAF personel would get the Ferry across the Deben. I think the last Pylons were dismantled early 70's. Spent many hours in the area when I was YOUNGER.!!!
