A friend has passed on to me that a certain militaria auction site has been placed on Paypal's list of "organizations that promote hate, violence, or racial intolerance." by virtue of them selling Third-Reich militaria. P**p*l have insisted on all reference to, or use of their name being removed from the site which Is now setting up alternative payment arrangements. I know what I think about this. Another case of a company going 'over the line' in an effort not to be given a bad name. Tough for the genuine collectors. I have ceased to expect the application of common sense in these matters, but you have to see it from their perspective as they do have a business to protect. The trouble is that they can expect a lot more complaints if a group takes offence than if the small niche market is removed completely. Sad, but that's modern business for you. :mellow:
