I recall very clearly looking out the window. about 100yds away,to my left,on the opposite side. I can see perfectly....There is a road there. Pastor road?

Hi Brian - was Pastor road from your recollections? Only asking as did a search on Google Earth and there is a Pastoorsstraat and a picture of the town hall that Phil found is on that road.

What would be wonderful is to find the relatives of the two elderly folk that gave me a wonderful day in Brussels, at the time of Market Garden,
It is in this area in the Forest section of the city, with a magnificent town hall with golden fugures on the top…the
    GEMEENTEHUIS VORST
    Maison Communale de Forest.

Or the young lady that invited me to sleep in her bungalow, one half was for the pig....And me! She, bless her washed my clothes for me

What were their names? I live in Belgium maybe I can help?

    Best Martin
