    Does anyone collect these?

I've always thought the 1/6 WWII figures were pretty neat, and would like to start a collection of my own.

I got a "Nick" FSSF the other day on ebay, awaiting it's arrival :D

Also picked up a Canuck (the only one I know of [other than the FSSF]). A Calgary Highlander.

I used to have Action Man figures as a kid - not as detailed as the Dragon figures, but you could still get a lot of gear for them. Wish I'd kept them.

But I've admired the Dragon figures at the Forbidden Planet shop around the corner from here (I like the Tommy with the Bren - I think with N Africa outfit). Damn expensive though.

Yeah they are pretty expensive, which is why my collection will have to stay as is for now [2]. I definatly over paid for the Highlander, but I was determined to get it and I did.

Of course, it is possible to have rather too many Dragon figures.
There was a surprisingly populated dday diorama too but I can't find it now.

Edit: This is better photos of the same, and other setups.

    That was brilliant.
Far too much time and money on his hands.
I will not be showing these photos to my train loving lads.
They'll want one in the garden too.

Yowza, thats incredible. When I strike it rich somehow (right...) I'd like to do something like that.

One of my figures arrived today and I'm having quite the time trying to figure out how to get him into his gear properly hehe...

    Erik,
What does he look like out in the garden amongst the shrubbery?
Dig a slit trench for him and let's see some black and white photos.

Why is his mess tin hanging down at the back?
Shouldn't it be in his small pack?

It should be, yes. I ran out of room, but will attempt to make some more tomorrow.
