Taken from the reg diaries of the 73rd Anti tank regiment.
Nov 11th 1942, they shot down a Stuka?
Does anyone know where I can find out the name of the German pilot?

Apart from the fact that the pilot was from Sturzkampf-Geschwader 3, I can contribute very little.
    The identification was S7+??

Unfortunately, hardly any documents on this squadron have survived:
    Documented losses November 1942
    I./St.G.3 - 8
    II./St.G.3 - 31
    III./St.G.3 - 8

The only loss known by name on this date is the commander of I./St.G.3, Martin Mosskopf, PoW after being shot down by P-40 No. 2 Sqn RAAF "to the east of Halfaya Pass South West of Sollum in Cyrenaica".

I would try the British Intel documents: If there is nothing substantial, then the only hope is for a chance hit.
