Hi All, I need help to trace my the war records of my Father Clifford Towle He served in the Mediterranean i think on motor torpedo boats.and often spoke of Gibralter.and Malta. He was born in Lincolnshire in1921 and I think joined the Royal Navy in 1941. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks Chris Towle
All I can say is that his name does not appear in the index of Reynolds & Cooper, Mediterranean MTBs at War Short MTB Flotilla Operations 1939 - 1945. But almost all mentioned in the index were officers.
