Looking for good books on Market Garden. Needs to be well researched, preferably unbiased and academic.

    Candidates are:

The Battle of Arnhem: The Deadliest Airborne Operation of World War II. Beevor, Anthony.

Arnhem: The Complete Story of Operation Market Garden 17-25 September 1944 : Buckingham, William F

    Others?

I've come to the conclusion that before picking up any book on Market Garden or any other discussion about the war in Europe in Sept 1944, Eisenhower's appraisal of the war situation provided to the Combined Chiefs of Staff and Roosevelt and Churchill at the Octagon Conference is essential reading. It provides the unadulterated context for what happened next. Freely available on the net.
