Hi I'm based in London, UK. My uncle was a flight sargaent (sp) on a Wellington bomber. He was shot down on a raid over Hamburg in April 1942 and is MIA/KIA along with his crew. I'm now starting to research flight plans etc, with the aim of possibly finding his plane and giving them all a proper burial. I saw an article here where a Lancaster was found and would really appreciate any tips or advice anyone can give me. I'm also trying to find out if there is an organisation in Germany that records where discovered planes are found. Many thanks EDIT Let's keep this as an intro only.
