HMS Nith was the D Day HQ Ship for the 231st Infantry Brigade with amongst others Brigadier Stanier, Naval Captain Farquhar Commander Group G1 and Lt Col Phayre of the 147 Fd aboard. I am trying to corroborate some Signals to/from the vessel around 06:00 (during the wireless silence?) and wondered if anybody knows of documents that might carry this sort of detail.
