Can anyone help with info on these two RAFVR brothers? Flt Sgt Pilot Colin Campbell Meikle 1604174 died 6th June 1944, Delhi War Cemetery. Flt Sgt Air Bomber David William Meikle 1457139 died 12th October 1943, Cambridge War Cemetery. A third brother, Lt Ian Ormistan Meikle was Airborne Artillery and killed at Arnhem, Oosterbeek Cemetery. The family was from Hornchurch, Essex. Part of a search for Philip Reinders. Thanks, Mike

Flt Sgt Pilot Colin Campbell Meikle 1604174 died 6th June 1944, Delhi War Cemetery. CWGC has him as being killed 06 June 1945 with no squadron listed. Flight Global appears to have his notification of death in February 1946 - status "Killed on Active Service" (non-battle death). I wonder why the delay?? Other than that............
Flt Sgt Air Bomber David William Meikle 1457139 died 12th October 1943, Cambridge War Cemetery. Mike F/S. D W. Meikle was killed when Stirling III EF426 WP-W of No.90 Squadron crashed at Wratting Common while trying to land with the starboard outer feathered. Details from - 'Bomber Command Losses' Vol.4 - W R. Chorley
Thanks Dave, Ross, Peter. Good starting points for a bit more searching. Mark (BFBSM) has advised they had an older sister April so trying to get a bit further with that line.
