Whilst carrying out research concerning the resistance in my local area of Lyons La Forêt, Eure, France I have come across information indicating that a member of the Verhague family in the neighbouring town of Fleury Sur Andelle helped two British members of the Secret Services. I know that a lady of the name Huguette Verhague lived in the small village of Lisors WAS in the resistance as she is a much thought of member of the local resistance group, in fact on the first Sunday of September every year we hold a ceremony in memory of what she did and to remember other members of the resistance who were executed just up the road from her. Other than the above mentioned information there is nothing that I can find that gives me more information conerning Mr Verhague. I am about to start to carry out more research on Huguette but would like help from anyone out there to learn more about the Verhague family in the area. I have sent a message to the mayor of Fleury Sur Andelle and am awaiting an answer. If anyone could help it would be very much appreciated. Je sais qu'une dame du nom Huguette Verhague vivait dans le petit village de Lisors était dans la résistance, comme elle est une grande pensée de membre du groupe de la résistance locale, en fait le premier dimanche de Septembre chaque année nous organisons une cérémonie de la mémoire de ce qu'elle a fait et de se rappeler d'autres membres de la résistance qui ont été exécutés pas loin de sa maison. Apart de l'information mentionnée ci-dessus il n'y a rien que je peux trouver qui me donne plus d'informations concernant M Verhague mais je voudrais l'aide pour en savoir plus sur la famille Verhague dans la région. J'ai envoyé un message au maire de Fleury Sur Andelle et je suis en attente d'une réponse. Si quelqu'un pouvait aider, il serait très apprécié. Aussi, si quelqu'un connaît les noms des membres des services secrets qui sont passés par Fleury Sur Andelle, il serait très apprécié.
