    Hi,

My friend had a talk with me about unique opportunity of archival research in Russia. He can collect ALL possible documents for ANY battle from Soviet side!!! (If you are interested in what kinds of them ask me in PM).

But you imagine that the price for this job (which can take many months) is reasonably very high and I think almost no individual researchers can afford such an amount of money.
So, if you know any research institute, or commercial company, or maybe some community of people, who can be interested in ordering such sort of works, feel free to contact me!
It's very important, because if we loose this opportunity, it'll be almost impossible for anybody else to collect such a complete set of Soviet documents!

    Your advices are much appreciated!

    Regards
    Alex

    Very interesting opportunity Alex.

I hope you are successful and many of the truths are revealed and many of the myths put to bed.

I would think that the only way you would be able to achieve this funding is if those putting up the money were involved "hands on" with the project.

Yes, it's very interesting... but very expensive as well...
I myself am not enough successful (and what independent researcher is?) to order such sort of work.

But also my firend provides less scale research works. they are not comprehansive and thus less expensive...

Also maybe I'll find some other friends for small research works, because the mentioned friend is making such sort of work, which is unavailable to anybody else...

    Regards
    Alex

I conduct reasearch but have no money.,.....is this documentation genuine?.......I'm currently looking into rewriting a the history of the Eastern Front, but the problem is lack of reliable Soviet sources....

I intend to be very critical of the mis-management of Soviet generals and their general incompetancy....Zukhov included....so archival material from Soviet sources is always welcome...

Just wish I had enough money.....but then again, why not ask that these documents ber provided FREE......

Its about time SOMEONE tried to tell the story of the Eastern Front from a Soviet PRIMARY source perspective......

Well John Erickson has done this already with his two works "The road to Stalingrad" and "The Road to Berlin". Richard Overy has already written "Russia's War" with the emphasis on the Soviet side and David Glantz has written a number of works about the eastern front using Soviet sources so sorry but its already been done and is continuing to be done.
    :)
